2010
Dear Parents,
As you are aware, our school was visited by an OFSTED Inspection team in 2010 and 2011. The inspection(s) were extremely rigorous, robust and thorough scrutiny of all areas of school life. We are delighted to inform you that we have not only maintained the outstanding standards we set for ourselves and realised priorities based on our previous inspection but we have once again surpassed all expectations. The lead HMI Inspector stated that ‘our school has a real Wow Factor – uncompromising and relentless in its pursuit of personalised learning; to an extent rarely seen in primary schools.’ They reported that it was a privilege to review our school and, as you can see below, were extremely complimentary.
An outstanding school – providing exceptionally well for all its pupils needs
· Pupils receive an excellent education at this highly innovative and inclusive school...
· Children receive an excellent start in the Early Years Foundation Stage – making rapid progress
· All pupil outcomes for Personal Development and Well-Being are outstanding... this is because of the excellent curriculum which is highly sophisticated, exciting and stimulating
· Behaviour is exemplary – attitude is excellent... pupils are equal partners in their learning
· The school pays outstanding attention to the needs of every individual pupil
· Highly skilled teaching – teachers are expert at making lessons exciting and purposeful
· Support given by teaching assistants leads to a rapid acceleration in progress
· Inspirational and outstanding leadership - at all levels... Consequently the school demonstrates that it has an outstanding capacity for future development
We would like to take this opportunity to say thank you to all staff, Governors, parents and children - who were the real ambassadors for the school!
This is a superb result and everyone deserves to take enormous credit for their skills, dedication and hard work to make the school what it is today - a school and team which we all feel extremely privileged to be part of.
Mr Rob Gooding
