Parents as Partners
Parental involvement in their child’s education is one of the prime factors contributing to higher levels of achievement.
We value highly the role that our parents play within the school and want to ensure that any communication between home and school is valued and relevant. A few years ago, with this as our driver, we established Parents as Partners.
This has taken many forms over the years, we have held meetings in school with a cross sections of parents invited to attend, we have advertised the 'topic' for discussion and held drop in sessions, we have even gathered parents thoughts around a topic using message board technology. We are always looking for a new and fresh way to give parents a voice in school whilst not making unnecessary demands on your time...
... and then came Covid-19!
Until this is over and we can, once again, invite you into the school, I can signpost you to our channels of communication. If you have a question / suggestion, communicating with your child's teacher directly through DOJO messaging is the best place to start.
Questions relating to anything 'outside' of your child's learning can be directed to the office, or myself at the email address below. I will endeavour to respond as soon as I am able. If several people raise the same question, we will communicate these, and our answers, with the whole school community via Parentmail.
