Parents as Partners
Parental involvement in their child’s education is one of the prime factors contributing to higher levels of achievement.
We value highly the role that our parents play within the school and want to ensure that any communication between home and school is valued and relevant. With this in mind, we have established Parents as Partners.
Parents were invited to a meeting, in school, during term one. The intention is for termly meetings during which we can discuss areas where the school are meeting the needs of the parents as well as identifying areas where further information or communication is thought to be useful.
Both Mrs Schofield and myself were overwhelmed by the enthusiasm and support shown for our first meeting as well as the fantastic contributions that were made to help us move forwards together.
If you have any precious spare time and would like to be part of one of our future sessions, please let us know.
