Today was a whole school 'healthy lifestyle day' and we considered how to make our bodies healthy. We are already very aware of 'the things you can do that are good for you' (ask your child) but it is always good to have a gentle reminder. As part of this we did a healthy snack hunt with Melissa and discussed different types of food. Sensibly we know that there are some foods that we should eat lots of and some not so much!
We also prepared some different types of fruit that we could sample. They were delicious and we were very open minded to types that we had never tried before. We made a graph of our favourite fruit and could easily identify from the bowls which was the fruit that we were not so keen on!
