What brilliant fun! We met Susan, our Forest School Leader and she took us to an amazing place called Forest School! We had to walk carefully to the special area and spotted lots of beautiful trees, shrubs and wild flowers on the way. Once we arrived we went straight to 'base camp' a circle of logs around a fire. Here we had to be careful not to step into the ring surrounding the fire but make sure that we stepped over the logs to get out (just in case the fire was ever lit). We played a great game of fox and rabbit and ate our snack. Susan then took us on a tour of the area we were able to explore showing us the boundary fence. We also came across several gates and were told that if a gate is open we may go through but if it is shut we do not open it. There are so many interesting things at Forest School and so much to explore in the weeks to come!
