Enrichment
If you had the opportunity to develop your passions or learn a new skill, what would you choose to do?
Friday afternoon is enrichment time, with a wealth of opportunity to practise, to enjoy and to learn something new like a sport, cooking, movie making, film club, arts and crafts, reporting, nature studies, outdoor adventure, cycling, archery, music, code breaking, yoga, drama and even have a go at being a Scientist!
Each term offers new and exciting activities for the children to participate in.
The core purpose being to enrich their opportunities, to discover new passions and to develop existing ones.
Our expectation is the children will develop their Rs and work Responsibly, with Respect and Resilience, always be Ready for learning and are keen to Reflect and Refine.
Some children will be chefs or artists, journalists or film makers when they are older because they are just driven to be. This is their chance to focus on their strengths. Others are not so clear and wish to explore a range of new skills and experiences.
Enrichment allows for both as we are fortunate to have a range of skilled practitioners: teachers, trainers and some of our wonderful parents too.
