OFSTED Report

"THIS SCHOOL IS A BEACON OF EXCEPTIONAL PRACTICE!"

“AN OUTSTANDING SCHOOL THAT’S GETTING BETTER AND BETTER.”

A HAT TRICK: Outstanding in 2006, 2010, 2013!!!  WOW

DEAR FAMILIES AND FRIENDS,

As you are aware, our school was visited by an OFSTED Inspection team in 2013. The inspection was an extremely rigorous, robust and thorough scrutiny of all areas of school life.  We are delighted to inform you that we have not only maintained the outstanding standards we set for ourselves and realised priorities based on our previous inspection but we have once again surpassed all expectations.  The lead HMI Inspector stated that ‘our school is an outstanding school that is getting better and better!’ We would like to take this opportunity to say thank you to all staff, Governors, parents and children - who were the real ambassadors for the school! This is a superb result and everyone deserves to take enormous credit for their skills, dedication and hard work to make the school what it is today - a school and team which we all feel extremely privileged to be part of.

"This school is a beacon of exceptional practice in all key areas of its work.

Pupils are highly enthusiastic about learning at every age throughout the school and make outstanding progress.

Behaviour is exemplary and pupils feel totally safe. Pupils demonstrate a very mature attitude to everything, including their learning.

The exciting range of taught subjects and the school’s innovative learning methods are particular strengths.

The headteacher is an inspirational leader. He has had a clear impact on raising the amount of outstanding teaching.

The majority of teaching is outstanding. Teaching is never less than good."
