This term Year 1 will have to wrap up warm as we are becoming Polar Explorers! We will be reading lots of stories about polar bears and penguins and finding out about the different animals that live in the Polar regions and how they survive in such a cold climate. We will be finding out about famous explorers who have reached the North and South Poles and what kind of equipment they needed.

In ICT we will be controlling the beebot programmable toys, giving them directions to move between the different arctic animals and land on the igloo.

In Art we will be creating our own Arctic collage scene, and printing penguins using our fingers!
