This morning some of the soldiers from Kendrew Barracks came to put us through our paces. We marched with Sergeant Swain and Sergeant Smith. We had to stand to ATTENTION. Turn left and right on command and salute! Our listening skills were certainly put to the test!
Then it was our turn on the obstacle course with Staff Sergeant Cole and Private Payne. Run to the bench, walk across, big strides to put alternate feet through the tyres, then crawl under the camouflage netting, jump over the hurdles, turn to weave in and out of the poles, a further camouflage net to crawl under and then throw the hand grenade into the bucket! Phew! Exhausting! Each and every one of the EYFS team took part and completed the course. How amazing are they?
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
