Today we were so very lucky to have a special super hero visit - a Cardiac Physiologist!  We found out about different parts of the heart (on a large model) and how it pumps blood to parts of the body. We saw first hand an ultrasound of a beating heart and identified the left and right ventricle and valves opening and shutting!

We also spoke about the importance of keeping your heart healthy through regular exercise and having a good diet.
