Welcome to our Team 6 page! For the children's final year at Whissendine, we hope to give them a fantastic, enriching year filled with a wide range of experiences and many great memories too.

Homework

 

Please find below a typical timetable for homework, however sometimes this may change due to specific tasks.

 

Topic Homework - Set at the beginning of term and due in for the final week - usually the final Friday.

 

Maths/Grammar Homework - Two separate homework, both given to the children on a Friday and expected in for the following Wednesday. 

 

Spellings Homework - Two week programme:

Week 1: On Monday, the new spelling rule will be taught and given to the children to practice; they will be tested on Friday with 10 spellings following that rule, some of which they will have been given, some they will not have seen.

Week 2: On Monday, the same spelling rule will be taught again and tested out of 15 spellings that Friday; the majority of the words may be not ones the children have seen.
