Fred had a surprise for us today - he had 28 eggs to boil and a loaf of bread to toast! Why? Because today he told us about bouncy 'e' and the rhyme ....... so we set the tables and put the eggs on to boil. It was tricky to write 'e' but the rhyme helped. Cutting the lid off our real eggs was quite tricky too but we kept trying! It was certainly worth the effort because the eggs and toast were eggcellent!
