New Walk Museum - home of the Rutland Dinosaur!

Today we took part in a workshop led by expert Gary, that explored the difference between two dinosaurs, the Rutland Dinosaur – a Cetiosaurus and a Neovenator.  We discovered differences in shape, size, movement, diet and habitat through various hands-on activities.

We were also able to handle amazing artefacts such as a T-Rex tooth (that was quite sharp), a mammoth tooth (that was REALLY heavy) and a tree root fossil.

Following the workshop we had a spot of lunch and then another small amount of time to investigate the dinosaur exhibits ourselves.
