We had a brilliant time at New Walk Museum in Leicester. We found out about the Rutland Dinosaur – a Cetiosaurus (SEET-ee-oh-sawr-us) and a Neovenator (Nee-oh-ven-ah-tor) with the help of Sheila through lots of very hands on activities! Skeletons of both dinosaurs were on display and we also had the opportunity to handle different fossils (one of which was dinosaur poo!)
We also investigated the ‘Wild Space’ and enjoyed the interactive displays looking at different species and the habitats in which they live.
Our children displayed so many of the learning behaviours we celebrate in school. We are very proud of them.
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
