Happy New Year and welcome back to a busy term! We are starting the build up to our Y3 / Y4 performance at the end of Term 4 and so we are looking at play scripts in literacy, trying to identify the key features and recognising the importance of stage directions - otherwise how will the actors know how to speak or where to stand?!
In science we are learning about nutrition and skeletons and, even though Class 3 do not want to admit it, recognising that we are all animals and that we all need certain things to stay healthy and grow big and strong.
In RE we are reflecting back on the Christmas season - Was it about presents, trees and crackers? Or light and love? or both? We have already considered the importance of the festive season and I was amazed by the deep thought and careful consideration that Class 3 put into our discussions.
Mr Barlow will be leading our music sessions on Monday morning, Mrs Honerez will continue with French on Tuesday afternoons when Mr Eshelby will also take Games. Don't forget your PE kits as the weather has taken a cold turn!
Here's to a happy and healthy 2016!
