Term 1
Welcome back everybody! It’s going to be an incredible start to the school year this term as we kick off with our new topic – we are going to be learning all about the Stone Age to Iron Age period. We are kicking this off with an all day workshop – “Portals to the past” in our first full week back.
We have an action packed first term in Class 4 which includes:
Literacy – we are going to writing a story based on “UG Boy Genius of the Stone Age”
Science – we will be learning all about Food Chains and the Digestive system.
Art – we will be creating our very own cave paintings.
PE – we will be doing gymnastics (Monday) and rugby (Wednesday) this term so remember your kit.
Computing – Class 4 will be creating and editing their very own WIKI page!
This term , as part of becoming more independent, we are focused on being ready for learning and will be awarding one of our team an “independent learner of the week” rosette on a weekly basis so stay focused.
