What a jam packed term we have ahead Class 5! This term our topic is World War 1. We will be exploring the experiences of soldiers and nurses and what life was like for men, women and children on the home front. In maths we will be exploring area, perimeter and fractions and in literacy our focus is Flash Backs linked to the animation ‘The Piano’. During PE, we will be learning the Charleston and Mr Eshelby will be taking Class 5 for Tag Rugby on a Wednesday afternoon so bring your warm outdoor PE kit. We have several exciting trips planned including a trip to Oakham Museum and a Pizza making morning at Woodlands Kitchen. Mr Barlow will be helping you to explore Google Sketch up in ICT and you will be creating a virtual gallery for our village Nettleby. In addition to this, Mrs Winn will also be exploring Hinduism in RE.
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
