Term 4 – already !!  

  
We have lots to look forward to in this short, action packed term! The children have chosen to investigate ‘Space’ and we are very excited to be using this as a vehicle for some of our learning.  We hope to visit the National Space Centre in Leicester on 10th March to enhance our understanding.  We also have World Book Day to look forward to and nearer the end of term; we explore the Easter story.

Prime areas of learning are still very important as we introduce ‘reflection’ as the learning behaviour this term.  Within our Read Write Inc programme children continue to work at their own individual pace and mathematics is present in everything we do (we always use real experiences as opportunities to further our understanding).  PE continues Friday morning with bare feet for this term.  

Foundation Class Parents Consultation meetings will be in the final week of term when we will discuss individual targets to help the children reach the Early Learning Goals at the end of their Foundation year and think about transition into Year 1 – more information to follow.
