Term 5 - How Does Your Garden Grow?

Welcome back to Term 5; a short but sweet term to take us towards summer!

This term we are busy, as ever, learning about plants.  We are all becoming scientists this term and we shall be investigating the correct conditions and habitats that different plants like to live in, how to look after plants and learning about the different parts.  We shall also be learning how to conduct experiments and record the evidence in tables or graphs.

We start our literacy with some shape poetry.  We will learn how to write calligrams and shape poems using our topic as our starting point.

In maths our main focus is learning to tell the time.  Any extra help with this at home is greatly appreciated.  We shall be learning to tell the time up to five minute intervals.

PE will still be on Mondays and Fridays and we shall be doing dance and athletics.  Please make sure PE kit is in school ready.  Homework is still due every Monday but spellings come in every Friday.

Feel free to pop and see me if you need anything.
