This term we dive into the wonderful world of Traditional Tales. Children will explore a wide range of Traditional tales as we learn what makes a traditional tale, how are they structured, what are their settings and characters like. 

The children will then take on the role of an author and have a go at writing their own story books which will be displayed proudly in our own class library. 

The traditional tales we will be exploring are:

Jack and the Beanstalk 

The Three Little Pigs 

Goldilocks and the Three Bears 

The Princess and the Pea 

The Gingerbread Man  

The Magic Paintbrush
