A very sunny morning to pop up and see Mr Moon, the miller at our very own village windmill. We took the grains of wheat we had sorted and we were able to use Mr Moon's grinder to make our own flour. Mr Moon told us lots of information about the windmill, its history and how it worked. As a class, we were unable to go into the windmill due to health and safety but if you wish to take your child up to see Mr Moon yourself, I know that he would be very happy to give you a tour! Don't forget to buy the flour to make your own bread!
