World Book Day
Such a brilliant World Book Day!
We split into three groups and did different 'workshops' in EYFS, Year 1 and Year 2 classes. In EYFS we read 'Are you Spring?' and then went into the school field to spot signs of spring for ourselves! In Year 1 we read 'Owl Babies' and then painted our own and in Year 2 we read 'The Gingerbread Man' and made one to eat, created our own maps and went shopping with the Gingerbread Man with 10p to spend!
Mrs White came in to read us a story at snack time (Mrs Comber went into Year 4!)
Finally we changed into our PJs/onsie and dressing gowns and had snuggly stories with a delicious gingerbread biscuit and hot chocolate with marshmallows.
