Welcome to Year 4!

We have a very exciting year planned - I hope you are all ready for Year 4!

This page will contain knowledge organisers, termly plans and any homework for your reference.

Homework 

Maths Homework - This is set on a Tuesday and is due in the following Monday. It will relate to our learning in class and is designed to give children an extra chance to practise, with the aim that it helps them to remember!

TT Rockstars - Please try to log on and rock out as much as possible!

Spellings Homework- Two week programme:

Week 1: On Monday, the new spelling rule will be taught and given to the children to practice; they will be tested on Friday with 10 spellings following that rule, some of which they will have been given, some they will not have seen.

Week 2: On Monday, the same spelling rule will be taught again and tested out of 15 spellings that Friday; the majority of the words may be not ones the children have seen.

There are also 'High Frequency words' on the bottom of the sheet. These are words that do not follow one of our rules but are useful for the children in their written work. 

PE

This year, children will get changed into their PE kit at school, so please could the children bring their P.E kit in on days they have P.E lessons. P.E will be on a Monday and Wednesday.
