Welcome to Term 1

So to start off the year, we will begin by learning about living things and their habitats, in science, and the United Kingdom, as part of our geography. We will be learning about the countries, capital cities, seas and oceans within the UK, and identify human and physical features using maps. We will explore our school environment, looking for different micro-habitats and the creatures that live within them. During our Literacy sessions, we will be practicing the art of non-fiction writing by creating non-chronological reports about a chosen creature.
