We were invited by Melton & District Model Engineering Society to visit them at the village sports ground today where they have a miniature railway. We saw model steam trains and a traction engine called Kate! We were so very lucky to have a ride on both! We saw the fire on the traction engine and found out how the coal heats the water which makes steam to turn the pistons!
Such a treat!
