The EYFS and KS1 teams took advantage of the fact that the rest of the school were out at an Athletics event to run our own special day! Teamwork was what we were looking for and the children showed us how brilliant they are at working together and supporting each other. All children were put into 3 groups of different ages and given 3 different challenges to complete. Mrs Comber was impressed with how the groups worked together to have a super time with the parachute - it only works if you all listen carefully and help each other!
Miss Barker and Mr Asplin sent groups of children off to hunt for the missing pieces of their jigsaws, which they had to put together and create their own background for the Punch and Judy figures. In class 1 the groups made ice cream sundaes, first designing the different layers they wanted and then helping each other to assemble them, before testing them out!
Despite the rain, we had a super picnic together in the hall and even got to play in the hall during lunch. Well done to all the children for a brilliant team event!
