Welcome back after the summer holidays Class 5. I hope your brains are refreshed and you are ready to start term 1 with a bang. This term, our topic focus is Ancient Egypt. During our topic, we will be exploring timelines, sources and daily life for men, women and children during Egyptian times. In Literacy, we are reading 'The Crocodile Tomb' by Michelle Paver, and we will be using this text to ignite our writing. In science, we will be experimenting with materials and in ICT we will be looking at internet safety and how to create our own web pages.
