term 2 - London

 

 

After exploring Whissendine last term ,this term we are going to be finding out more about our capital city. We will be learning the names of famous landmarks and enjoying lots of different stories, puzzles and games based on London. We are going to make our own London bus in the classroom and create junk models of some of the famous sights! We will also be travelling back in time to find out more about the Great Fire of London in 1666.

 

 

Alongside our topic we will be writing Bonfire Night poetry, visiting the church for Remembrance Day activities and of course getting ready for our Nativity!
