Term 4
Grab you space suits class 5 because this term we will be exploring space and forces. We'll be kick starting our topic with a trip to the space centre in Leicester where we'll be learning about night and day and what it's like to be an astronaut. You'll also get the chance to think about what you would like to learn about space this term.
Back in the class room, we will be discovering the solar system, day and night and how forces act upon us in our daily lives and in space. In literacy we'll be reading the book 'The City of Ember' where the citizens have to live in the dark. PE days are Tuesday and Thursday and you will need your outdoor kit for both. We'll be continuing to look at Hinduism in RE and our art will be focused on Hindu patterns.
